A final farewell to Pete Hudson
At a very moving ceromony attended by the family supported by so many members from the RAF, RAFA and friends, Pete was honoured for the big and most unforgettable person he really was. There was not enough room for the large number who attended and many had to stand outside. A very moving account of Pete's life was read out by Kevin and a fitting tribute by Air Vice Marshall Paul Atherton, followed by the last post, the presentation of Standards by the ten Standard Bearers, and a formal ceremonial undressing of the coffin. Those who knew Pete will never forget him and for us he never let anything daunt him and his own words "I will give it a go". We shall remember him!
